We abandoned solid fuel rocket engine for about 3 years ago and went over to the liquid fuel driven instead . This engine (on image) was then an ongoing project but due to the switch to liquid the engine was abandoned..In spring 2010 we decided to complete this engine and test it.The fuel we use is a KNO3 mixture. It is then past a well-tried and safe fuel.The rocket engine will contain about 4 kg of fuel (grain) and will have a burn time of 10 sec at best.
We hope the test will go flawless.
